For swimmers, the first beach is just 1700 meters from our campsite, with convenient access via the seawall, allowing you to reach the beach while admiring the spectacular seascape that stretches as far as the eye can see. This idyllic beach offers you a sanctuary of fine sand andcrystal-clear waters.
There are several beaches around La Faute-sur-Mer to suit all tastes. La Grand’Plage is the most accessible and lively, ideal for a simple day at the water’s edge. For a safe, family-friendly setting, Plage des Bélugas is perfect, thanks to its supervision and peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for more peace and quiet, Plage de la Barrique offers a calm, unspoilt environment. Even wilder, the Pointe d’Arçay offers a natural, naturist setting. Finally, the Plage des Chardons offers a good balance between nature, calm and accessibility.
Thanks to its exceptional location, close to the beaches, you can forget endless journeys in the heat of the day, forget traffic jams on the roads around the beaches in the middle of summer, and forget the time spent looking for a parking space. For your greater comfort, the seaside campsite in Vendée offers a free shuttle service* between the campsite and the beach during the summer months of July and August. Take advantage of this opportunity to explore the many beaches dotting the surrounding coastline. Each stretch of sand has its own unique charm, inviting you to relax and discover.

Water activities in the Vendée
Start your day with a refreshing jog along the beach to warm up your muscles and enjoy the magnificent scenery.
Dive into the ocean and swim for about 20 to 30 minutes. Swimming is a great full-body workout that also helps to cool you down.
Get together with friends or join in a game of beach volleyball. This activity puts your whole body to work, especially your legs, trunk and arms.
Perform a circuit of bodyweight exercises on soft sand, such as squats, lunges, push-ups and planks. Aim for 3 sets of 15 to 20 repetitions for each exercise.
End your workout with a relaxing yoga session or stretching routine on the beach to improve flexibility and prevent muscle soreness.
